Willett Community Bookclub
Willett Community Book Club is run through the school library and is starting its 2nd year. It’s open to all students and an adult in grades 4th thru 6th. I have always made time to read to my children at bedtime (even the 9th grader still listens) and studies continue to demonstrate strong correlations between reading and overall family health. http://nyti.ms/1fm460M
Our first book to read is A Mango-Shaped Space by Wendy Mass. We will meet on Tuesday, September 29th at 6:45 pm in the Willett Library. Please plan to join us and enjoy a lively discussion with your child and other Willett families.
Permission slips are available in "Forms" section of this website.
Please contact Joy Klineberg at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Looking for a fun and easy way to support Willett?
Join the Hospitality Committee! We provide special lunches and conference week treats to our hardworking teachers and staff throughout the year. All communication is done through Sign Up Genius, so there are no meetings to attend. You just sign up when it fits your schedule and then drop your food or beverage items off in the office on the morning of the event. Hospitality is a great way to support our school and the staff really appreciates all the delicious treats! To join this wonderful group of volunteers or for any questions please contact Carolyn Baker at email@example.com
Assemblies are scheduled throughout the year for the students at Willett.
Keep an eye on the "Who's News" newsletter and this website for dates.
Community Cares Program
September’s Community Care Events
Each month we offer opportunities to volunteer or donate to organizations that serve the local or worldwide community. If you have suggestions for organizations you would like us to partner with, please contact Pam Moeller at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteering at Community Care events is optional for all Willett families. We encourage it as a way to spend family time together, help the community and meet other Willett families but do not in any way require participation or assume responsibility for participating. All students attending Community Care volunteer events must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
